BOARD-CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIST
Dr. Poovathumkadavil, a board-certified radiologist, is also an assistant professor of body imaging at St. Louis University Medical School. His board certifications include the American Board of Radiology and American Board of Cardiac CT.
Our specialist graduated from the Government Medical College Thrissur in Kerala, India. His ongoing education includes ABR certification in diagnostic radiology, an MRI fellowship, body imaging fellowship, body/emergency radiology fellowship, pediatric radiology fellowship, FRCR in clinical radiology, board certification in cardiac computed tomography (CBCCT), and a PET/CT fellowship.
He currently holds active licensures within the New York State Medical Board and in Tennessee. Internationally, he holds an active license with the Indian Medical Council.
Dr. Poovathumkadavil is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Royal College of Radiology (London), and Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (India).
